Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize ETL (ELT) platform and processes to ingest and integrate
• structured/unstructured data from diverse sources.
• Build, maintain, and secure compliant data processing pipelines using different tools and
• techniques
• Use various Azure data services and languages to store and produce cleansed and
• enhanced datasets for analysis (e.g., SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, Data Factory, Azure SQL
• DB, Cosmos DB)
• Ensure that data pipelines and data stores are high-performing, efficient, organized, and
• reliable
• Deal with unanticipated operational issues swiftly and minimize data loss.
• Design, implement, monitor, and optimize data platforms to meet the data pipeline needs
• Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into
• customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science or related fields.
• Solid knowledge of data processing languages, such as SQL, Python, or Scala
• Three or more years’ experience creating and maintaining data pipelines for SQL and
• NoSQL databases.
• Three or more years’ experience working within the Azure ecosystem for e.g., File
• Storage, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL
• Hands-on experience with SQL database design
• Proficient in English, and able to effectively communicate and collaborate with customer
• data engineering team

Additional Pluses

• Hands on experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
• Experience deploying machine learning models into production systems.
• Experience in algorithms, advanced math, and/or statistical modeling.
