| Job Description: |
- Be responsible for closing books at the year’s end upon completion of annual audit.
- Review the various ledger accounts including reconciliation of the general ledger, revenue accounts, expenditures, and cash balances.
- Monitor the financial activity on assigned programs and prepares expenditure reports for program managers as necessary.
- Review accounting documents to ensure accuracy of information and calculations and makes or directs correcting entries.
- Prepare, maintains control, and is responsible for subsidiary accounting records involving a variety of transactions and accounts.
- Monitor cash flows and using the same to predict future financial trends.
- Formulate strategies to be used in the long-term financial plans for a business entity.
- Develop management mechanisms in the finances department for purposes of minimizing the financial risks.
- Manage the accounting and monitoring systems for the company’s finances
- Develop good working relationships with professionals such as bankers, auditors or statutory organizations for the benefit of the Company.
