Job Description: |
- Ensure accurate and on time completion of posting in respective software with respect to payables and payments
- Check Purchase Order (PO), Inward Gate Pass(IGP), Good Receipt Note (GRN) to verify cheque requisitions against purchases and ensure payments. Also forward all sales tax invoices to Sr. Taxation Specialist.
- Ensure advances against procurement duly recorded and adjusted and match the payments with relevant invoices.
- File all posted vouchers in a chronological order.
Vendor Reconciliation
Ensure that vendors’ outstanding balances are reconciled with company’s party ledgers on fortnightly basis and present report to Team Lead Accounts & Finance.
Monitoring Payables/Utility bills
- Review IGP and other reports on daily basis to ensure completion of unrecorded purchases in software; in case of discrepancies, coordinate with purchase department.
- Ensure on time disbursements of payments against invoices and Utility Bills etc
- Minimize bottle necks in the process to ensure timely payments
Payables Ageing Reporting
Generate accurate report (creditor aging analysis) of all payables after verification from Team Lead Accounts & Finance submit reports Management on weekly basis.
Financials Statement (Monthly/ Annually)
- Prepare accounts payable report for management accounts on monthly basis.
- Monitoring tasks of associates and update management.
- Reconcile balances of all intercompany
- Ensure proper allocation of all G/L accounts
- Reconcile stock with Software
- Preparation of monthly Financial statements and present to Team Lead & management for review
- Preparation of Reports related to Financial statements
- Preparation of Variance analysis of the Financial statements
- Participating in preparation of Annual Financial statements for Audit purposes
