Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Officer to join our team at our accounting firm. The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and developing strategies to increase revenue and grow our client base. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of accounting industry trends and challenges, and a proven track record of success in business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to attract and retain clients
  • Identify new business opportunities through research, networking, and other channels
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competition
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop marketing campaigns and promotional materials
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
  • Attend conferences and events to network and promote the firm
  •  Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of accounting industry trends and challenges
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of success in business development and sales
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Ability to travel as required
