We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Accountant to lead our Accounts & Finance department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and providing critical financial insights to support our business growth. This is a key leadership role requiring strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and proven experience in managing a team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Prepare all aspects of billing, invoicing, and collections, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Manage vendor payments and client receivables efficiently, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.
• Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls.
• Maintain and manage the accounting software (Peachtree) diligently, ensuring proper data entry and accurate record-keeping.

 Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) or equivalent. Higher qualifications (e.g., M.Com, ACCA, CA Inter/Finalist) will be a significant advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Software Proficiency: Proven expertise in using accounting software, particularly Peachtree.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage an accounting team.
